Future Programs

Dear Friends,
Here are our current ideas on the table for our new programs.

Health Based Card Game -
We have designed and printed, and are currently play-testing our first stand-alone card game during our 5 active after-school enrichment programs, designed for elementary age children. The intent of the game is to make food education fun. To this end, the game is simple enough to learn, yet complex enough to remain interesting. In short, the style is "draw, play, discard", where players are trying to collect complete healthy meals. Rob Close is the contact if you're interested in learning more.

Scholarships –
Our scholarship program will provide funding opportunities for creative holistic health projects and tuition assistance for academic training in a holistic health profession. Determination will be based upon commitment, quality, and creativity, which will decided primarily through essays and applications. These scholarships will be funded via donations and fundraising from our community, plus a percent of our profits from the Vegetable Circus program. We hope the minimals size of such scholarships to be around $1000. If you are interested in creating a specific scholarship whose goals meet ours, please send us an email - we are a schedule H 501c3 non-profit, and as such, can help facilitate such endeavors with ease. Aaron Marxsen is the contact in charge of this program.

Gardening -
We're looking to introduce our all-ages gardening program, involving natural systems, organic methods, and edible landscaping skills, at the Cambridge Community Center in early 2010! Please contact Abby Wolf if you're interested in learning more.

Invitation for New Programs-
If there is a community program that you have an idea for and feel that it falls within the scope of our purpose you are invited to submit a proposal outlining your idea.

For further information about this opportunity please contact our executive director
