About Us

AWEN is a 501c3 non-profit; organized in North Carolina in 2003, we achieved our 501c3 status in 2005. Starting with our flagship Vegetable Circus program, we expanded to include a New England headquarters in 2009, a California headquarters in 2010, and officially began our Urban Gardening Initiative in 2011. We are dedicated to improving community, reducing health disparities, and promoting the spirit of the individual in charge of their own health. We strive to nurture creative efforts that tackle these needs.

Get Involved!
The Allied Wellness Education Network was founded to assist in the growth of preventative health programs and educational resources. AWEN seeks to provide education and collaboration opportunities for holistic health practitioners and active citizens across America. It is our dedication to improve community health through our programs and promote the spirit of the individual taking charge of their own well-being. We welcome any new projects that serve these aims, and desire to help creative minds find channels for their energy.
